Teling Technology Corp. has revealed a clever, little Bluetooth car kit known as the BTC-07. What sets the BTC-07 apart from most other aftermarket bluetooth car kits is its innovative design. The BTC-07 Bluetooth car kit’s design allows drivers to operate the hands-free device without having to take their hands off the steering wheel. The BTC-07 conveniently attaches to the steering wheel using a buckle-loop. Since the BTC-07 is always fixed to the steering wheel, the distance between the driver and the microphone (20-30cm) is always ideal, allowing for the superior voice recognition. Drivers simply need a free thumb, and they can answer and end phone calls while driving safely. Calls are transmitted to the driver’s car speakers as the BTC-07 also acts as an FM transmitter.
The BTC-07 features a talk time of 15 hours, standby time up to 175 hours and a charge time of 1 hour. The device also supports Bluetooth A2DP, which will give drivers the ability to stream digital music from their MP3 players or cell phones to their car speakers. The BTC-07 Bluetooth car kit is still patent pending, but Teling Technology expects to get certification very shortly.
