Parrot Unveils Two New Bluetooth Stereo Speakers

Parrot, a leader in Bluetooth peripherals, will show off two new Bluetooth stereo speakers, the DS1120 and DS3120, at CES 2008 in Las Vegas.

"The Parrot DS1120 has been designed to deliver optimal audio performance, and provides a very easy connection to a wide range of audio sources," says Henri Seydoux, founder and CEO of Parrot. "Its wireless design provides more flexibility than any traditional stereo, which makes it ideal for the home environment."

The Parrot DS1120 utilizes a Class-D amplifier in each speaker. The bass system is hidden in the speaker stands and the three-button user interface is touch-sensitive. Included with the DS1120 is a Bluetooth 2.0 USB dongle for users whose audio source does not have Bluetooth A2DP profile.

The Parrot DS1120 will be available in Europe and the U.S. in the second quarter of 2008 with a suggested MSRP of $279.99.

Parrot DS3120 Bluetooth SpeakersThe Parrot DS3120 enables users to play music from their cell phones, music players, PCs via Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) or through a USB connection. It also has an SD card slot, a line-in for iPod and built-in FM/RDS radio.

"The Parrot DS3120 has been designed to offer unmatched audio performance and provides a smooth connection to a wide range of audio sources."

The DS3120 offers 20W speakers and a 1.8in color TFT screen which displays track and album details when playing music and phonebook information when taking a call.

The Parrot DS1120 will be available in Europe and the U.S. in the second quarter of 2008 with a suggested MSRP of $249.99.
