ANYCOM BSH-100 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone Review

In this golden age of wireless, consumers are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to enjoy all aspects of their media in a more streamlined manner.

The ANYCOM Bluetooth Stereo Headset (BSH-100), is a product that multitasks in a way that eliminates wires while providing convenient access to media devices and Bluetooth enabled cell phones without switching ear pieces. With the USB attachable microphone, this headset can be used for phone calls as well as gaming, chat and VOIP telephony.

What's in the Box?

Battery Life and Charging

Once out of the box both the headset and gateway need to be charged before use. Unfortunately there is only one wall charger, so either the headset or the gateway will need to be charged via the computer and provided USB cable. It is good to know that the AC adapter charges faster than the computer. Also, while using the USB cable to charge either unit, sound will not be available on that computer unless settings are manually changed, as it will automatically be switched over to the USB audio device. Average charging time ranges from 2-4 hours.

Style and Comfort

The headset itself features padded ear phones that help cancel out exterior noise and are comfortable to wear. This style of headset fits securely over the ears, behind the neck and folds up for storage. It seemed difficult to actually get the headset on, however. The pads on the earphones left little room to maneuver. This would also be difficult for anyone with longer hair. The weight of the headset, though not irritating, still gave the ears a slightly Vulcan angle.

One side of the headset features an On/Off button, USB port, Multi-function button (MFB), LED and Volume Up/Down. The other side houses the battery pack, which easily detaches via a small ejector button.
