Logitech® Wireless DJ™ Music System Review

Logitech Wireless DJ Remote and Bluetooth Receiver/DockerIt is said that 40 percent of online households play music files on their computer and 33 percent listen to Internet radio streams. Sadly, less than 10 percent are paying any attention to their stereo. As CD sales dwindle, tech-savvy consumers are amassing musical databases online and enjoying the portability, sound quality and compact storage digital files can offer.

One inconvenience of this format however was the inability to enjoy the full sonic experience a stereo system can deliver. Computer sound systems are marginal at best for the average listener while earbuds are useless for kicking up an otherwise boring party. Sure, docking stations have better sound quality for MP3 devices, but they are little more than high-tech boom boxes. Hooking up a stereo speaker system to a computer is easy, but limited to the location of the computer. Even then, making adjustments to the playlist has to be done manually from the PC.

So how does one get the convenience of an MP3 device along with the full sound a home stereo can provide? That's where the Logitech Wireless DJ Music System comes in.

The Logitech Wireless DJ Music System uses Bluetooth technology to stream any digital audio from a personal computer to a home stereo or powered speaker system. The Wireless DJ Remote puts the system in the palm of your hand with user-friendly features and the advantage of remote access to playlists and streaming audio options.

The Wireless DJ Music System is easy to install and works with audio formats including MP3, iTunes, AAC, SMA Internet radio and podcasts. No wireless network is needed and it installs with simple USB and RCA connections. Once installed, the system streams audio directly to the receiver with a range of about 150 feet.
