What do you get when you combine Oakley sunglasses, a Bluetooth headset and wireless stereo music? Well, Motorola and Oakley are set to release its latest Bluetooth product, the O ROKR Bluetooth Stereo Eyewear. Based on the previous RAZRWires, the O ROKR combines High Definition Optics with Bluetooth technology to allow users to listen to music and take phone calls.
The O ROKR can stream music wirelessly using the Bluetooth A2DP profile from a Bluetooth cell phone or music player with a Bluetooth adapter. With integrated speakers, you control all aspects of the music from the O ROKR.
When a phone call comes in, answer it straight from the O ROKR. The O ROKR provides 4 hours of talk time and 100 hours of standby time. A nice feature of the O ROKR is its dual speakers, one for each ear.
What about the sunglasses?
In addition to the stereo audio, you know you are getting a good pair of sunglasses made from Oakley. These sunglasses use Oakley's patented High Definition Optics. The lenses are interchangeable and maintain 100% filtering of all UV.
The O ROKR is expected to be available in the first half of 2006.
