New 3-Megapixel Smartphone from Nokia

Nokia recently announced it will be introducing its first UPnP-enabled smartphone. Nokia’s new phone is a digital powerhouse, supporting the UPnP protocol, which allows for easy media exchange among home network devices via a Wi-Fi 802.11g connection.

Nokia N80

The super lightweight, credit card sized Nokia N80 offers amazing features like a three-megapixel digital camera, email, MP3 player, personal organizer, and game console.

The N80's three-megapixel camera offers a flash and up to 20x digital zoom. Using Nokia’s XpressPrint Solutions you can easily print pictures from your home, office, or online. Also, with Nokia XpressShare you can exchange pics simply by using MMS, email and Lifeblog. The N80s UPnP and Wi-Fi support give you the ability to watch slideshows of your pictures on TV.

Move over Motorola ROKR and iTunes, the Nokia N80’s the newest phone that will be making all the noise. Of course we are referring to the N80’s integrated MP3 player, which will allow you to listen to your favorite tunes. Also, with Nokia XpressMusic (Nokia’s version of iTunes) you can create you’re own playlists and enjoy impressive audio quality.

The N80’s support for hi-speed web browsing and its high definition display offer an amazing multimedia experience. Whether you’re streaming audio or video, or playing the latest downloadable game, the N80 will keep you entertained all the time.

When it comes to work, the Nokia N80 is no joke. The N80 features all the normal applications that are expected of a smartphone such as a calendar, contacts, task list, email, and PIM. However, in addition to these basics the N80 also allows you to conduct video conference calls or share files during your conversation. The N80 also comes with PC Suite, which allows you to sync and share your phone’s data and multimedia with your PC.

It should come as no surprise, since you are at a site about Bluetooth technology, that the Nokia N80 does indeed provide Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
