The Logitech MX5500 Revolution takes the standard functions of desktop combos and kicks them up a notch with a sleek design, LCD display and an ergonomic rechargeable mouse – all with Bluetooth technology. Many functions are pre-programmed to work seamlessly with Windows Vista and with a little practice, you'll be flying through hot keys and hyperbuttons like a pro.
The MX5500 Revolution comes complete with an ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard, laser mouse, mouse charger, Bluetooth USB hub, software disk and quick start instructions. However, I was surprised to discover that there was not an included instruction manual. Most keys and programs were self explanatory, but a few functions took longer to discover through trial and error. This was fairly irritating as a manual that explained program options and hyperbutton uses would make it much easier to use right out of the box. It took a couple days of use in a variety of applications before I discovered all (at least I think all) of the functions of both keyboard and mouse.
Software installation was easy and the program allows you to customize the keyboard and mouse to a certain degree as well as keep an eye on battery life of the keyboard and rechargeable battery life of the wireless mouse.
