Like most iPod users, you probably enjoy listening to your iPod in your car as well as in your home. However, transferring your iPod from car to home can be cumbersome and somewhat of a hassle.

There is always the issue of connecting your iPod to both your car and home stereo devices. With so many accessories available that allow you to make these connections, how are you supposed to decide which one to buy?

The biggest factor depends on whether you want to connect with wires or by using some type of wireless transmitter, like an FM transmitter. Traditionally, wired connections have offered better quality audio, while wireless options provide superior convenience.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could connect your iPod to both your car and home stereos using one universal method that offers both quality and convenience?

Thanks to Scosche Industries, the mobile electronics company, and Bluetooth technology, you now can.

Using Bluetooth technology, Scosche has revolutionized iPod integration with both your car and home stereo systems. Scosche’s BlueLife System™ (Includes an iPod transmitter and multiple Bluetooth receivers) allows your iPod to move wirelessly from your home to your car.

With the BlueLife System™ all you have to do is attach the transmitter to your iPod, then connect one of the Bluetooth receivers to your car’s head unit and another Bluetooth receiver to your home stereo (Note: the 2nd receiver is sold separately).

Scosche's Bluetooth wireless solution for iPods is unlike traditional FM transmitters, hardwired connections, or RF remotes. FM transmitters often experience static and interference, while Scosche’s Bluetooth transmitter and receiver offer digital streaming audio with CD quality sound. Hardwired connections are attached using short cords, while Scosche’s Bluetooth technology offers 30 feet of wireless range.

From the CES 2006 Innovation Award to the Popular Mechanics Editors Choice Award, Scosche’s BlueLife System™ continues to earn praise. We at BlueTomorrow.com decided it was our turn to put it to the test, so we took the opportunity to review all aspects of the product.

I'm trying to set up a public address system for people with impaired hearing. I want to incorporate something like a bluetooth transmitter to multiple headsets/earphones users in the audience.

The audio source is a sound mixer.

Can you help or suggest any leads? have you been successful with this sort of technology?

Do you know of any web sites or local distributors that DEFINITELY have this sort of stock available?

Manythanks,
Mark Barravecchia.
