At the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Sony debuted the DR-BT21G Stereo Bluetooth Headset. This product is unique in that it is a behind-the-neck headset for easiest fit and utmost comfort during use. The DR-BT21G will allow users to listen to music and answer calls with wireless capability. The built-in microphone and remote control button in the ear cup allow for easy access to your calls and music.
Sony’s technicians have explained this device as having an “ergonomic form”, which should make it as simplistic to use and wear as it can get. It has a foldable construction for portability and is equipped with buttons on the side of the headset which will help control incoming calls and music tracks’ functions, like stop/pause, fast forward and rewind.
With 11 hours of talk time and music play, the DR-BT21G can also hold a single battery charge up to 100 hours while idle. It is Bluetooth enabled for the v2.0, A2DP, AVRCP, HSP and HFP profiles.
The headset will be available in April and will run about $130.00.
