Apple iPhone and Bluetooth Technology

Apple iPhone BluetoothApple has recently introduced the iPhone, it’s multimedia, Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. With accessories like a high quality GUI interface and touchscreen for most functions, the Apple iPhone is the new kid on the block with an attitude. The iPhone is a multimedia player with many more functions built in. Use the touchscreen for web browsing or Visual Voicemail, or use the keypad option on the touchscreen for texting, all wirelessly, with Bluetooth 2.0 capability.

The iPhone is a quad-band GSM phone, meaning that it supports all four major GSM frequency bands, 850 and 1900 MHz bands which are used in the Americas, and 900 / 1800 MHz bands used in most other parts of the world, making it compatible with all major GSM networks worldwide. AT&T Mobility, the former Cingular Wireless, is slotted as the telephone provider, and their service is available worldwide.

Using the web or touchscreen is as easy as sliding the screen with your finger for left and right page views, or a light touch to choose your web page or document, phone numbers or music selections. The screen is dynamically colored and high quality, making for great visual.

The Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR capability allows for all of your functionality of this all-in-one device to run that much more smoothly and quickly, with much more battery life. Bluetooth 2.x + EDR provides quicker connection times, enhanced voice and multimedia quality, greater performance in Wi-Fi environments, and as much as three-times-faster data-transfer speeds. Bluetooth 2.0 allows for cable-free connections to compatible devices up to 33 feet away. It can also work with Bluetooth v1.1-, 1.2-, and 2.0-compliant devices. The capability of the Bluetooth 2.0 brings all of the options that the Apple iPhone offers longer, faster and with higher performance, all wirelessly.

The iPhone has built-in WiFi, with which it will be able to access the Internet, wirelessly, via the Safari browser. Thanks to the Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, the iPhone works with any wireless earpieces that use Bluetooth 2.0 technology and allows voice-activated file transfer via email.

With the Bluetooth wireless and voice capabilities, along with all the other features that Apple has included in this multimedia phone device, the iPhone may just be the phone to set the standard for functionality and quality in the future.
