GlobalSat, maker of the Bluetooth Entertainment Pack, recently announced it will be launching a new Bluetooth iPod accessory in March 2006. The BTA-809 Bluetooth Audio Gateway will convert your iPod into a wireless music player.
The BTA-890 Audio Gateway incorporates the latest in Bluetooth technology, allowing it to transmit high-fidelity digital audio to other compatible Bluetooth devices, such as Bluetooth wireless headphones. The BTA-809 will be sold as an audio kit, which includes an iPod adapter transmitter and a Bluetooth headset.
The BTA-809 is a plug-and-go device that uses the Bluetooth A2DP and AVRCP profiles. The A2DP provides for reliable, superior stereo audio and the AVRCP enables remote control functionality.
The accessory is designed to connect directly to your iPod, allowing it to wirelessly transfer the stereo audio signal to Bluetooth headphones or any other compatible Bluetooth receiver.
The BTA-809 is compatible with the iPod nano, 3G, 4G, 5G and iPod Mini.
