Plantronics recently announced 5 new Bluetooth headsets, the Discovery 655, Discovery 640E, the Explorer 330, Explorer 340, and the Explorer 350.
The Plantronics Discovery 655, weighing only 9 grams, features a new look and comfortable fit. To help reduce background noise, the Discovery 655 will come equipped with digital signal processing (DSP). It also includes a "AAA battery charging pocket that allows up to 10 hours of talk time and a headset storage jacket with a vibrate ring indicator to offer a convenient way to charge, store, and transport the headset." The Discovery 655’s battery can also be charged using the included mini-USB adapter.
The Discovery 640E is another addition to Plantronics’ Discovery line of Bluetooth headsets. Modeled after the original Discovery 640, the 640E (SRP: $119.95) comes with fewer charging adapters and a less expensive price. The 640E allows for up to 15 hours of talk time.
The Plantronics Explorer 330, 340 (SRP: $79.95) and 350 (SRP: $89.95) Bluetooth headsets feature One Touch control, including volume, answer/end call, last number redial and voice-activated dialing. The Explorer 350 includes convenient in-car accessories for charging and stowing.
All 5 Bluetooth headsets will be available on the Plantronics website in August and in the fall at most retailers.
