Logitech has recently unveiled its next generation of mouse and keyboard combination, the Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser. Their new design features laser mouse technology, enhanced Bluetooth wireless capabilities and its already award-winning design.
Today's technology is all about saving space and making life a little bit easier. The Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser is an ultra-thin, angular keyboard that comes with a detached MediaPad. This design will go especially well with your flat-panel monitor. We also love the look of the keyboard, which has a metallic-silver finish with deep blue accents.

The Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser comes equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 Enhanced Data Rate (EDR). Bluetooth 2.0 EDR is the latest Bluetooth Core Specification Version and the next big step in Bluetooth Technology. It allows faster exchange of information between two devices and offers higher quality voice-over-IP (VOIP) phone calls on your PC using a Bluetooth 2.0 EDR Headset. We at BlueTomorrow.com believe the integrated use of Bluetooth and VOIP will be the next big thing.
So what makes this keyboard/mouse so special?
The laser mouse helps to deliver precision navigation and function. According to Dennis Pavillard, Logitech's vice president of product and marketing for desktops, "This diNovo Media Desktop Laser sets its owner apart, with avant-garde design and an extraordinary feature set. With the addition of Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and our laser mouse, this product offers new levels of performance for those living on the cutting edge of today's digital lifestyle."
What is the function of the MediaPad?
Logitech provides you with a detached, multi-purpose MediaPad which can be used as a normal number pad, and remote control for playing music, watching videos, and even when you step away from your desk at a range of up to 60ft.
The MediaPad has a display that shows music track information, incoming instant messages and emails, as well as the status of instant message buddies. It seems like it has all the functionality one shall ever need. To the right, you'll see a picture of what the MediaPad looks like.
When will it be available for purchase?
The Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser will be available in October 2005 in the U.S. and Europe. The desktop has a suggested retail price of $199.99 in the U.S.
