Sanyo is introducing a new portable GPS system, the Portable Navigation NVM-4030, which also offers Bluetooth hands-free calling with your cellular phone. The NVM-4030 is the perfect accessory for your automobile, and can easily be transported to another automobile or you can even take it with you in a backpack!
With the introduction of the NVM-4030, Sanyo will have a total of three portable navigation systems in their product line. It appears Sanyo is leveraging their expertise in other portable electronics in an attempt to become a player in the portable navigation market.
The remarkably versatile Sanyo NVM-4030 combines a portable navigation system with Bluetooth hands-free communication and a digital music player in one self-contained device. The 4" touch screen display, voice instructions and turn-by-turn navigation all provide for what appears to be a very user friendly experience.
The Sanyo NVM-4030 has not been released yet, but is expected to retail for $399.99. Online Access Networks Inc. is currently the only website and online retailer to have any information about the system.
