Race Car Driver Gives Bluetooth Stamp of Approval

bluetooth race car.jpg The Bluetooth SIG will continue to sponsor Daniel Herrington and his AIM Autosport Mazda car in the Star Mazda Series. Next time you watch a Star Mazda Series race, look for the car with the flashy Bluetooth logo and you will know it’s Herrington‘s car.

Herrington is already off to a great start in the 2006 Star Mazda Championship Series, finishing second during the first race at Sebring International Raceway. Herrington not only supports Bluetooth technology by flashing the logo, but he also uses a Bluetooth enabled headset in his car during the race. "The Bluetooth device worked flawlessly in its debut outing," says Herrington. "The fact that our first version of a Bluetooth wireless headset worked at one of the roughest race tracks in North America says a lot about the reliability of Bluetooth Technology. I am excited to see how the device develops over the year!"
