Bluetooth automotive device manufacturer, Parrot, continues to introduce groundbreaking devices which make driving safer and more entertaining. Earlier this month at the CES 2006, Parrot displayed two new Bluetooth automotive devices.
Both Bluetooth automotive devices offer hands-free communication with connection to Bluetooth enabled cell phones and the ability to connect to various other Bluetooth devices.
The first device is Parrot’s 3400 LS-GPS, which combines three amazing features for the first time ever:
- A Bluetooth Car Kit – Provides for hands-free communication by connecting to your Bluetooth enabled cell phone and offers voice recognition for maximum convenience and safety.
- A Color LCD Screen – Displays your cell phone’s phonebook due to automatic synchronization using Bluetooth technology. Also, if your phone has photos of an incoming caller, the picture will be displayed.
- A GPS Receiver – Using Bluetooth wireless technology, it sends your vehicle’s position to either your smartphone or PDA with navigation software. You can hear audio directions through your vehicle’s speakers.

The other device Parrot had on display was the Rhythm N’Blue AM/FM/CD/MP3 car stereo receiver.
The receiver allows you to listen to CDs, the radio or MP3s, plus you can make and receive phone calls. With the use of Bluetooth technology, the Rhythm N’Blue pairs with most Bluetooth enabled cell phones and offers the following features:- Access to your cell phone’s phonebook due to automatic synchronization with the receivers memory.
- Incoming caller information displayed on the receiver’s screen.
- Voice recognition which allows you to call someone be saying their name.
