Ever imagine being able to talk on your phone or listen to music wirelessly while hitting the slopes? Well, now it's possible. Motorola and Burton have teamed up and launched a Bluetooth snow jacket, the Audex Jacket Series.

Not only does this Bluetooth snow jacket have integrated Bluetooth technology for phones but it also has wires to hook up an iPod. Compatible with any 3rd generation or newer iPod (excluding the iPod Shuffle), the Burton Bluetooth snow jacket gives you One-touch iPod control including playlist, artist, album, track, navigation, volume, play/pause/stop via click wheel style button. On the left sleeve is the control panel and in the hood is a microphone and speakers.

Bryant Johnston, vice president of global marketing for Burton says, "Music and technology are a huge part of the snowboard culture. The Audex line makes it easier than ever to listen to music and pick up calls whether you’re riding up the lift or grabbing a taxi downtown.”

The Burton Audex Jacket Series will be priced at $599.95 or higher. It is compatible with any brand of Bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2 enabled mobile phone that supports the "headset" or "hands-free" Bluetooth profiles.

Motorola and Burton are also teaming up to produce more products similiar to the Bluetooth snow jacket. They have plans for Audex Protective Gear, including a helmet and a padded hat with Bluetooth stereo headphones.
